Week 6 Preview: Team Shop Extended to Wed AM, Meet on Thurs, Captains Announced Tuesday

Hello parents and guardians,

I am so proud of our athletes for what they were able to accomplish last week. Here is your preview for week 6:

Team Shop Deadline Extended to Wednesday Morning @ 7:59

Just in case you were unable to put your orders in, the deadline to order from our team shop has been extended until 7:59 AM Wednesday morning! Dick Pond won't be able to push the deadline back any further than this in order to ensure prompt delivery. Enjoy your gear!!

Thursday's Meet at Morton West High School

• 3 buses leaving at 3:30 (Voland, Schweighardt, Delcid)

• Teams attending: Glenbard West, Oak Park, and Morton

• Field Events Start at 5:00, Running Event Start 5:30

• This will be our first scored meet!

• Limited entries: 10 individuals and 2 relays per level

• 1/8th inch spikes ARE allowed

• Food and drink must stay in camp area in the main gym

As information changes or new information becomes available, I'll communicate that to you ASAP. Team Captains to be Announced on Tuesday

Athletes will have a team meeting to start practice on Tuesday. At this meeting, we will celebrate the tremendous efforts from our two meets last week. We'll also award another runner of the week, field athlete of the week, fire-in-the-eyes award winner, captain's award winner, and awesome award winner. Finally, the captains for this season will be announced! I will summarize this information for all of you after our athletes' team meeting on Tuesday.
