Hello everyone,
We have a few things to share for this weekly update:
Online Team Shop Open Until Feb 20th
Fundraiser Kick-Off This Week
Intersquad Home meet on Thursday
Online Team Shop Opens Today
From today, February 8th through Friday, February 20th, you can order this year's team gear from our online team shop through Dick Pond Athletics. This is a longer window than usual, and we won't be able to extend the window, as it takes some time for orders to be printed and shipped.
Fundraiser Kick-Off Monday
Athletes will be invited into the Snap! platform on Monday. During this time, athletes will be entering their 20 emails and 20 phone numbers into the secure platform. Please help your athletes have these lists ready so that they can enter them into the system tomorrow.
The campaign will be live and accept donations from Feb 16th - March 16th.
Home Intrasquad Meet Thursday
Open Meet - All athletes will compete
This will be a short meet with only a few events contested.
Athletes should arrive at 4:15 and competition will start at 5:00. We expect to be done before 7:00.
Order of running events: 50m Low Hurdles, 50m Dash, 800m Run, 200m Dash, 400m Dash
No food, drink, or tape allowed in the fieldhouse
No official check-in for this meet. Athletes will know what they are competing in by Wednesday, and they should simply show up to the starting line when it is time to race.
It's just us in the fieldhouse, but spectators are welcome!
Reminder: Sign Up to Help Our Team!
We are looking for parents/guardians who are willing to bring snacks to meets, bring supplies to the banquet and pasta parties, and help serve pasta at the banquet and pasta parties. Click here if this is something you are interested in. Thank you for your support!
That's it! Remember to bookmark www.gwtrackandfield.com and join our Remind to stay connected.
Not doing track? Please let me know so I can remove you from this list and finalize our roster.
Thank you,
Coach Voland
