Hello everyone,
We have a few things to share for this weekly update:
Online Team Shop Opens Today
First Home meet on Thursday
Special Olympics Basketball Game on Friday
Online Team Shop Opens Today
From today, February 5th through Sunday, February 11th, you can order this year's team gear from our online team shop through Dick Pond Athletics.
Home Meet Thursday
Open Meet - All athletes will compete at home against Lincoln Way West. This will be a short meet with only a few events contested.
Athletes should arrive at 4:15 and competition will start at 5:00. We expect to be done before 7:00.
Order of events: 4x800 Relay, 50m Low Hurdles, 50m Dash, 1600m Run, 200m Dash, Cake Race 4x160 Relay, 4x400m Relay
No food, drink, or tape allowed in the fieldhouse
No official check-in for this meet. Athletes will know what they are competing in by Wednesday, and they should simply show up to the starting line when it is time to race.
Spectators are welcome!
Special Olympics Senior Night Basketball Game on Friday
On Friday at 6:00, the special olympics basketball team will celebrate their senior night at home against Fenton. Arrive at 5:45 to spend time with our team, order some concessions, press your luck with the raffle, and cheer on the Hilltoppers!
