Welcome to Outdoor!
The outdoor season goes FAST! It's currently the second week of April, and the majority of our team will be done with their season after the second week of May.
With that being said, we have a LOT of athletes who are poised to qualify (and place!) at the state meet this year. You can review the meet schedule at www.gwtrackandfield.com.
Bring spikes EVERY DAY to practice during the outdoor season. You never know when we might need them, even if only for a few minutes! (Quarter-inch spikes are welcome!)
Bring warm gear for warm-ups. We will go outside every day unless we have inclement weather.
Home Meet Thursday
Running events and all field events start at 4:30. Estimated end time: 6:30

Recap of Bulldog Relays and Prep Top Times

Bulldog Relays:
The 4x200 of Krishtian Singh, Mateo Pedroza, Isaak Caldwell, and Evers Brogle; the 4x400 of Owen Ashmore, Keaton Peter, Nolan Borgman, and Graham Faris; and the distance medley (1200-400-800-1600) of Ely Tedford, Patrick O'Donnell, Nathan Ho, and Sam Roser represented GBW well and ran some great splits!
The 4x800 of Keaton Peter, Matt King, Brandon Carpenter, and Graham Faris ran a season-best of 8:14.29 and won the meet!
Prep Top Times (often referred to as the "indoor state meet"):
Jordan Ademuyiwa ran the 60m Dash in 7.12 and got 6th place (and a PR!) in the 200 in 22.70 (Would have been our indoor school record if not for Mason Ellen's 22.53 earlier this year)
Ben Schoettle ran the 60m Hurdles in 8.35, which placed 7th overall at an extremely prestigious meet
Chase Martin Scott got 5th and ran a PR in the 400 with a time of 51.31, our school's current indoor school record!
Food Pantry Recap
Thank you all for your help with collecting food items for the local food bank. As a team, we were able to collect 266 pounds of much-needed groceries for the community. Great work!!
