  • Runners of the week: NOLAN BORGMAN and CONNOR GOWANS

    • Nolan's attitude towards track has been so impressive. He just wants to run and support his team, and as a result filled in for a 4x4 spot on our varsity relay Friday night. After that incredible effort, he came back on Saturday to get a PR in the 200 and a PR in High Jump. Your positivity is contagious, your commitment is incredible, and you have some great things coming! This week's runner of the week is Nolan Borgman! -  Mason Ellens

    • Connor had a HUGE 20-second PR in the mile on Saturday. He's been working hard for a long time, and as a result, those times are really starting to drop. Your positive energy, celebration, and cheering on others is also extremely appreciated. Way to go, Connor! - Brandon Carpenter

  • Field athlete of the week: KRISHTIAN SINGH - This kid PR'd in long jump at conference last weekend, jumping close to 20'. This jump is also the 2nd longest jump on our entire team, and this kid is only a freshmen. He is also PR'd in triple jump in the same meet, jumping 38 and a half feet. That's our team's 3rd best triple jump of the season, again as a freshmen. On the track, this kid also has a very impressive 55 time and 200 time. He's working hard, is set up for a killer outdoor, and is going to have a fantastic 4 years with us. Way to go, Krishtian! - Graham Faris

  • Captains Award: SAAD MYO - This kid loves to do it all. He competed on Friday in the shot put and insisted on coming back on Saturday to Pole Vault and long jump. He would have run the 55, 200, and more if he could have, and if he had to run the 400 or mile, he'd probably run that too! Your dedication and desire to get better in everything is extremely impressive. This week's captain's award goes to Saad Myo! - James Morris

  • Fire in the eyes: VICTOR MARTINEZ - This kid ran our fastest 4x4 split of the day on Saturday last week, which happened to be about 7 seconds faster than his last officially recorded 400. He gave everything he had, and had a hard time walking for quite some time afterwards. This kid loves track, loves pushing himself, and had an incredible race. This week's fire in the eyes goes to Victor Martinez! - Jacob Blew

  • Awesome Award: OWEN ASHMORE - This kid is just a sophomore, but has grown a TON since his freshmen year. This past Friday, he PR'd huge in High Jump and also in Triple Jump. He has also put up some killer splits this season in the 4x200 and 4x400, having run on our top 4x4 this season. He's a different cat this season and is surely going to be a huge piece of the puzzle moving forward. This week's awesome award goes to Owen Ashmore! - Coach Voland
